Amazing! Having never attempted an escape room before we had no idea what to expect, Jonny set us a warm up task to get our brains in gear before we tackled the main game. We had 6 in our team and everyone used their own strength to solve the different clues. Was so much fun. Jonny was also on hand the whole time if you needed him. Highly recommend giving hot a try. Great location just off the A14 and there are 2 pubs within a minute or 2 drive to laugh about your performance after, if you want to make a day/evening of it.

Group of 6 of us played the Sherlock room, tonight. We've collectively been to a fair few escape rooms and this was certainly one of our favourites and a delightful experience altogether. Jonny is an excellent host, whom in no way rushes you along, very friendly and will recommend you even more rooms to try out elsewhere. The room is really well laid out and the puzzles are both fun and challenging!
Can't wait to return to try the Prison room which is coming soon. Best escape room closest to Bury.

Fab escape room! Jonny was very friendly and the room itself was great, with a good range of puzzles! Gutted as only 10 seconds off the record! Will be returning when the prison one opens, 100% recommend to everyone!

Had a great escape room experience at Suffolk Escape Academy yesterday!
We puzzled our way through ‘The Next Great Detective’ and made our way out just in time. I really enjoy escape rooms and I have to say this is one of my favourites - a nice mix of satisfying solves and sequential challenges made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Particularly liked the thought that had gone into the introduction - before entering the room we had a few puzzles to solve and a run through on how all the padlocks operated, which was a nice touch and really great if you’ve never tried an escape room before.
The escape room is also right next door to a campsite and The Playground in Barrow - so is perfectly placed for a fun day out or an overnight stay.
Really looking forward to the next room to open - will be back again soon!

We went as a last minute plan on Boxing Day as the weather was rainy and the usual family walk was unappealing.
I messaged to check it was open as it was Boxing Day and we received a really prompt response which was great.
The host is really friendly and I really like the fact you get a practice first which will be really helpful for beginners and great to get your brain in gear for those that haven’t been to an escape room for a while.
The actual room is really good-lots of different kinds of clues and things to work on- we had a few hints when we got stuck on bits, but still felt we earned our escape.
A great family activity-we went with our two older teenagers especially when the weather is awful, but you don’t want to be mixing inside with other people given Covid level.
Definitely would return if there was a new room, great value for money compared to others ones we have done, but the quality of the games weee not reduces at all
