FAQS
WILL I BE IN A ROOM WITH PEOPLE I DON’T KNOW?
Absolutely not! An escape room is meant to be a wonderful, bonding experience and being forced to work strangers doesn't seem like a wonderful experience to me. However, if those people you do not know are going to be your work colleagues it can be a brilliant ice breaker!
ARE ALL ROOMS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
All our rooms are designed to be child-friendly over the age of 6. In fact, one of our fastest groups were all under 15 and the one that solved the most puzzles in that group was 8!

Some children can get a bit scared with the atmospheric music; if this happens, we can happily change it. Some rooms may have parts that are better experienced in the dark but we can leave the lights on. These small changes aren't big enough to affect the game but do ease some people's nerves.
WILL I ACTUALLY BE LOCKED INSIDE A ROOM?
For safety reasons you cannot be physically locked inside the room at any time, and should you need to leave for comfort reasons, you can do so. Our rooms are designed so that if you need it to be the door can remain open and should not break the immersion.
HOW MUCH DOES PLAYING AN ESCAPE ROOM COST?
Games are £20 per adult;
£10 for 9 and under
Children under 6 and under can come in free of charge as this game is not designed for them and we understand child care can be difficult to arrange.
When booking, for 2 children treat them as one adult and for one child please bring payment in cash on the day.
Why are you cheaper than other escape rooms?
Because I can be!
There are a lot of expenses in running a business. Staffing, Software licenses, rent, taxes... the goes on. But I have no staff, so I don't need expensive schedule software or to factor in Staff insurance. My games use little electricity and so are cheap to run. I don't use expensive game running software (which is necessary for a lot of premade Escape rooms). Being out of town means rent and taxes are cheaper also.
Basically, I am saving money where I can and passing those savings onto you!
Which game is best for me to play based on my experience?
Excellent question.
For those that have never played a game before the best is THE NEXT GREAT DETECTIVE. It's completely Linear (you have to solve puzzles in order) with around 12 elements for your team to complete. Don't be fooled the game is still a challenge but it's the least challenging. (70% success rate)
THE ENCHANTED FOREST is slightly more challenging with around 16 elements to solve and is the best game for larger groups. It has a large chunk of linear with a few extras sprinkled in. Also this a one room game, meaning that everything is out all of the time. And while this adds another aspect to solve, All the puzzles have a clear link to where to answers go. (60% Pass rate)
DEAD SALVATION is the hardest game with around 23 elements to solve and is not strictly linear. This game is for those that love a challenge and have excellent team work/communication. It is based in the Zombie Apocalypse but is NOT a horror experience. It has atmosphere and weapons, so not suitable for under 10's. This game is still new and minor tweaks are still happening.
Current Success rate 40%.
