FAQS
WILL I BE IN A ROOM WITH PEOPLE I DON’T KNOW?
Absolutely not! We want to offer a comfortable experience, and for people to feel relaxed during their game. Working with people you don't know may be uncomfortable and distract from your enjoyment. Games can be played with a minimum of 2 people.
However, if those people you do not know are going to be your work colleagues it can be a brilliant ice breaker and create positive connection!
ARE ALL ROOMS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
Enchanted Forest and The Next Great Detective are designed to be child-friendly over the age of 6.

Some children can get a bit scared with the atmospheric music; if this happens, we can happily change it. Some rooms may have parts that are better experienced in the dark but we can leave the lights on. These small changes aren't big enough to affect the game but do ease some people's nerves. Please let us know any adjustments needed prior to your game starting.

Dead Salvation has an atmosphere and gun props within the room, so may be unsuitable for those under 10 years.
WILL I ACTUALLY BE LOCKED INSIDE A ROOM?
For safety reasons you cannot be physically locked inside the room at any time, and should you need to leave for comfort reasons, you can do so. Our rooms are designed so that if you need it to be the door can remain open and should not break the immersion.
Suffolk Escape Academy is based on a campsite - are you linked?
While we are based on Churchview Campsite, we are not connected or affiliated to the various activities they offer.

There is a variety of activities available such as Football golf, Mini Golf, Archery, Axe throwing and a massage service amongst others.
HOW MUCH DOES PLAYING AN ESCAPE ROOM COST?

Crawl/Climbing Spaces - None of our rooms require crawling or climbing.

Live Actors - There are no live actors within our rooms.

Lights - All of our games have some lighting elements within the game. Please contact us to discuss your groups needs as most of these are adaptable.

While there is reference to zombies in Dead Salvation, this is not a horror game.

Bottled (close top) water is fine in the rooms - please no other drinks.

Which game is best for me to play based on my experience?
For those that have never played a game before the best is THE NEXT GREAT DETECTIVE. It's completely Linear (you have to solve puzzles in order) with around 12 elements for your team to complete. Don't be fooled the game is still a challenge but it's the least challenging. (70% success rate)
THE ENCHANTED FOREST is slightly more challenging with around 16 elements to solve and is the best game for larger groups. It has a large chunk of linear with a few extras sprinkled in. This a one room game, meaning that everything is out all of the time. And while this adds another aspect to solve, all the puzzles have a clear link to where to answers go. (60% success rate)
DEAD SALVATION is the harder game with around 23 elements to solve and is not strictly linear. This game can be played at a medium level or hard level
This game is for those that love a challenge and have excellent team work/communication. It is based in the Zombie Apocalypse but is NOT a horror experience. It has atmosphere and weapons, so not suitable for under 10's.
((60% success rate at medium level, 40% success rate at hard level)
